Welcome to the Rotary Club of Warren County. I invite you to come by and have breakfast and see what Rotary is all about.
Since we were chartered on April 6, 2005 our club has been making a difference in the lives of our community, district and the world. Some of our service projects have been, the community playground in Linden, a van for the Shenandoah Area Agency on Aging, a greenhouse for Blue Ridge Opportunities, renovation of spaces for the Phoenix Project, upgrading the playground for E. Wilson Morrison Elementary School, and this year we will be providing assistance to the House of Hope. We also support C-CAP of Warren County, St. Luke Clinic, Samuels Public Library, the United Way and the Humane Society of Warren County.
Our club reaches around the world by sponsoring an International Exchange Student in cooperation with the Rotary Youth Exchange. We have sponsored projects in Africa and the Middle East to provide clean water and eliminate disease. We provide school supplies to a school in Liberia and support a favela school in Brazil.
We give back to our community youth with three annual scholarships to students at Skyline High School. We also sponsor Interact Clubs at Skyline High School and Randolph-Macon Academy Middle School.
We raise funds with two major events, our Spring Gala and our Fall Golf Tournament, the proceeds of which allow us to carry out our service projects.
If you would like to make a difference in your local, district, and world community come by the Front Royal Golf Club on Wednesday mornings at 7:00 am for breakfast and fellowship and find out how you can become part of Rotary.
